On July 28, 2008, my loving wife Helen was diagnosed with breast cancer. On October 16, 2010, she slipped into the presence of our Lord, with only about 20 seconds of concern, sitting on her own bed, in her own bedroom, in her own house, peacefully, gently, painlessly, with my arm around her. God writes really good scripts. Between those two dates Helen fought cancer with every fiber in her being as I supported her to the best of my ability. This book is a compilation of a blog which she began in September of 2008, and a journal which I began about the same time, to chronicle a glimpse into how a fervent faith, a supportive family, and a binding love can help travel this road.
