Leah Beall knew she was going to die. Die right here on these dirty streets of this big, strange city. She had always heard of those who were close to death, a bright white light appeared out of nowhere and drew you in. There is was, the light, the closer it got the brighter it became. So this was how she was to pay for all her sins. At least she knew she was going to be with her beloved father she had lost five years before.
